Glass preparation — what your glazier needs to know: This hinge is recessed into the glass edge and requires:

1. A recessed channel cut into the glass edge to the hinge body dimensions
2. Pre-drilled fixing holes through the glass panel

Both must be done before the glass is sent for toughening or hardening. Provide your glazier with the hinge specifications at the time of ordering your glass. Attempting to cut or drill toughened glass after hardening will cause the panel to shatter.
